Office productivity apps
My first real experience with interface and user experience design took place at Talkao. Although my primary role was initially focused on designing store screenshots, managing graphic assets, and creating icons for multiple projects, from the start I was curious about how the apps could be improved beyond just the visual aspect.
Talkao had an extensive catalog of apps, which allowed me to observe different approaches to the same usability and design problems. Gradually, I began proposing small redesigns and improvements in the organization of elements, navigation, and screen flows. Every opportunity to analyze how users interacted or where they encountered obstacles became a valuable lesson and a personal challenge to find more functional and appealing alternatives.

At Talkao, the main goal was to boost the growth and visibility of its applications, covering solutions from translators to file converters. Much of the team’s work was aimed at optimizing the presence in app stores, with a special focus on icon quality and the selection of screenshots—key elements that can make a crucial difference in attracting downloads.
During my time there, I actively participated in improving these visual assets, understanding that a user's first contact with an app is usually through its icon and store images. An appealing icon and well-chosen screenshots not only stand out from the competition but also convey trust and professionalism, generating positive expectations even before installing the app.
